Eligibility Criteria for Caterpillar Recruitment 2022:
A four-year engineering or technology degree in Electrical/Mechanical, however, significant experience within the Service Information Department with demonstrated technical writing skills in Troubleshooting procedures/Cat App Authoring. Candidates must have good mechanical aptitude, a customer focus, initiative, planning and organization skills, good communication skills, and the ability to travel if required. Candidates must be team players, have the ability and desire to learn complex technologies, and have good interpersonal and mentoring skills.
Job Description:
Service Information Developer 1 position will utilize the SIS2.0 Authoring system to develop and electronically author a variety of Troubleshooting Procedures in Cat Technician App Authoring tool that are used to troubleshoot Caterpillar equipment. This information is based on complex research of product service requirements and must be completed in a timely, accurate manner. CDS-Cat Technician App tool, proprietary system that provides data intelligence by means of tagging content and structure that enables documents to be published electronically in the format specified by the engineer.
