Applications are invited from the eligible candidates to be engaged as Apprentice trainee under Clause 3 of Section 8 of Apprentice Act,1961 in Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited , Jharkhand Telecom Circle,Ranchi.
Definition: An “Apprentice” means a person who is undergoing Apprentice training in pursuance of a contract of apprenticeship
Positions:
1) Graduate Engineer Apprentice – Number of positions: 5
2) Diploma Holder Apprentice – – Number of positions: 45
Qualification: Diploma/ BE/ B.Tech
1) Electronics Engineering
2) Electronics & Communication Engineering
3) Computer Science Engineering
4) Information Technology
Age Limit: To undergo Apprenticeship Training the minimum age limit is 14 Years and there is no upper age limit. However, the candidates between the ages of 14-18 years are not eligible to sign the Contracts, being the minor. Their Contracts are required to be signed by their Guardians
Period of Training: The period of Apprentice training will be limited to one year only.
Job Location: Ranchi, Dhanbad, Jamshedpur
Reservation of seats: The reservation for candidates belonging to SC/ST category will be as per Rules applicable for the State of Jharkhand.
Stipend:
1) Graduate Engineer Apprentice – Rs. 4984/month
2) Diploma Holder Apprentice – Rs. 3542/month
Last date for Receipt of Application: 31st August 2015
Selection Process:
As limited vacancies are available, eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit in the academic examinations (i.e. BE/B.Tech/Diploma).
The provisional selection shall be made from amongst the candidates on the basis of no. of seats, merit, reservation, etc
