Job Description:
- Creates / develops / realizes product designs in CAD within agreed time, responsible for function & profitability
- Perform complex design calculations and kinematics independently and able to interprete results
- Independent calculation of functional dimensions and tolerances in accordance with testing & simulation
- Ensures designs being made available in accordance in a timely manner to support releases
- Active participant in development of projects with design/engineering reviews (testing / customer)
- Provides support reaching agreements regarding design
Profile:
- Expert in CATIA V5 3D, 2D and working knowledge of DMU (kinematics, Fit, etc)
- 2-3 years of experience in Automotive design preferably in mechanisms (like window regulator, tailgate opening mechanism, closure mechanisms, etc)
- Able to do design calculations (use of mechanics, strength of materials, theory of machines, machine design)
- Knowledge in metal and plastic design and their manufacturing
- Knowledge in application of GD & T
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Good interpretation skills of technical issues and problem solving
