The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) is a body created by a bill of the Bihar Legislative Assembly. The commission’s purpose is to select applicants in various government departments for group C staff jobs in the Indian state of Bihar according to the merits of the applicants and the rules of reservation.
BPSSC is a four-member body, including chairman, who should be DG or ADG rank officer from the police department (Retired or Serving officer). The commission also includes one Member Secretary and two Members. While manning BPSSC, mandatory representation has to be given to scheduled caste (SC) and scheduled tribe (ST) categories.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must complete Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University as on 01-08-2020.
Age Limit: (As on 01-01-2020)
Candidate’s age must be minimum 20 years and maximum 37 years as in case of General Candidates. Relaxation is provided to the reserved category candidates.
Selection Process:
Candidates are selected based on their performance in the Preliminary Examination, Main Examination. Candidates who got qualified in the both the examinations are called for certificates verification.

Candidates have to pay the application fee through online mode.
- Both Male & Female General/ EWS/ BC candidates have to pay the fee of Rs. 700/-.
- SC/ST Candidates have to pay fee of Rs. 400/-
