Job Description:
The Supplier Development Engineer is to ensure flawless launches of new programs. Responsibilities will include leading APQP process as part of new product launches, coordinate technical reviews, and develop supplier capabilities to meet BW requirements. Responsibilities will also include conducting Supplier Quality training at the suppliers and drive performance improvements at the supplier to meet established objectives.
- Supplier assessment
- Lead APQP process for new part launches
- Coordinate technical reviews and assessments thro effective CFT participation
- Develop supplier capabilities to meet BW requirements
- Conduct Supplier Quality training at Suppliers end
- Drive QCD performance improvements to the established objectives at Suppliers
- Problem solving during initial development of parts with suppliers
- Comply with established TS 19649procedures and customer requirements.
- Required to coordinate with Global SCM team from remote.
