Eligibility Criteria for Bentley Systems Recruitment 2022:
- B.E / M.E. /B.S. /M.S in any engineering discipline.
- Very strong in modern C++ (C++ 11 and higher) required.
- Experience with Node.js, TypeScript or JavaScript a plus.
- Experience with SQL databases and ORM experience a plus.
- Bison and Flex experience a plus.
Job Description:
The current position is for a C++ developer interested in SQLite, Node.js, Cloud Native services and TypeScript. The job will focus on the iModel file format but responsibilities will include working up the stack into our desktop, mobile and cloud libraries, applications and services. iModels are the core file format for the iTwin Platform (developer.bentley.com), an open cloud platform to enable digital twin applications across the infrastructure lifecycle. iModels are also used by Engineering Applications built on top of the itwinjs-core libraries
Job Responsibilities:-
- Design new features or updated functionality based on goals from product management, user issues and challenges encountered by other developers.
- Experiment with and produce evaluations of new database mapping, data modeling and conflict resolution strategies.
- Develop software in a fast paced environment where your software is delivered to production cloud, desktop and mobile environments on a weekly basis
- Test all developed software as developed including unit tests, integration tests and large scale end to end and performance tests.
- Maintain file format compatibility at all costs.
- Support schema designers modeling data that will be stored in an iModel.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to maximize productivity.
- Self-motivated person with the ability to work individually and as part of a team.
