The Bank Note Press, Dewas (BNP) is one of the nine units under the “Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited” (SPMCIL), a Mini Ratna Category-I, Central Public Sector Enterprise Company, a wholly owned company of Government of India.
Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL) was formed after corporatisation of nine units including four mints, four presses and one paper mill which were earlier functioning under the Ministry of Finance.
The Company was incorporated on 13.01.2006 under the Companies Act, 1956 with its headquarters at 16th Floor, Jawahar Vyapar Bhawan, Janpath, New Delhi. SPMCIL, a Miniratna Category-I CPSE, and wholly owned Schedule ‘A’ Company of Government of India, is engaged in the manufacture of security paper, minting of coins, printing of currency and bank notes, non-judicial stamp papers, postage stamps, travel documents, etc.

Eligibility Criteria:
Supervisor (Printing and Plate making):
- 1st class Diploma in Printing Technology from AICTE approved Institute.
- Desirable: B.Tech./B.E. in Printing Technology.
For Supervisor (Air Conditioning):
- 1st class Diploma in Air-Conditioning/Refrigeration Engineering from AICTE approved Institute.
- Desirable: B.Tech./B.E. in Air-Conditioning/Refrigeration Engineering.
For Supervisor (Ink Factory):
- 1st class Diploma in dyestuff technology/ paint technology/ surface coating technology/ printing ink technology/ printing technology from AICTE approved Institute.
- Desirable: B.Tech. in Dyestuff Technology/ Paint Technology/ Surface Coating Technology/ Printing Ink Technology/ Printing Technology.
Note: Candidates Possessing 1st class B.E/B.Tech. in respective streams instead of diploma in the respective stream can also apply for all Supervisors posts.
For Junior Technician (Ink Factory):
- Full-time ITI certificate in dyestuff technology/ paint technology/ surface coating technology/ printing ink technology/ printing technology.
- Desirable: Diploma in dyestuff technology/ paint technology/ surface coating technology/ printing ink technology/ printing technology from AICTE approved Institute.
For Junior Technician (Printing & Plate Making):
- Full-time ITI certificate in Printing & Plate making Trade viz. Litho Offset Machine Minder, Letter Press Machine Minder, Offset Printing, Plate-making, Electroplating, Hand Composing.
- Desirable: Diploma in printing technology from AICTE approved Institute.
Age Limit: Maximum Age Limit as pm 02-08-2019
- For Supervisors: 30 years
- For Junior Technician: 25 years
Selection Procedure:
The Selection will be made on the basis of Written Test/Online Test.
Scheme of Examination:
- The exam can consist of 200 Objective type questions for a total of 240 marks.
- The Online Test for all the posts will be in bilingual form i.e. Hindi & English language.
- There is no Negative Marking.
