Job Description:
Responsible for project wise design and engineering solutions required for smooth running of project business: To provide all deliverables to all functions during pre-bid & post bid stage of the assigned projects. To assist marketing team during bidding of the project, execution & SCM team for execution of projects. To support Design lead/Head for all his actions.
Job Responsibilities:
Pre execution activities:
- Study Project requirement, General Technical Specification, General Condition of Contract (GCC), Special Condition of Contract (SCC), Interpret conditions with special reference to engineering, execution and commercial terms
- Preparation of BOQ
- Interaction with coordinators, project managers and preparation of n BOQ
- Preparation of project wise construction drawings.
- Design the substation drawings & finalize the BOQ along with design lead.
- Verification of GTP and equipment drawings received through SCM from vendors
- Interaction with client/consultant & get the approval of the drawings.
- Prepare the data/documents for the client meeting related to system engineering, design, BOQ finalization.
Execution activities:
- Assist the site team to understand the drawings, technicalities & carry out the work
- Update regularly the execution data substation wise & quantity variation.
- Visit site to sort out the problems related to engineering.
Post execution Activities:
- To update the execution quantity.
- Keep all records for future bidding
Other Activities:
- To assist Design lead for BOQ finalization during bidding of new project.
- Preparing technical synopsis of the project & standard GTP
- List out requirements of necessary drawing/design/documents
- Verification of technical aspects of vendors materials
