- BE/ B.Tech – Mechanical / Automobile/ Industrial/ Production Engineering
Skill set: BIW, Welding Fixture Design – UG NX / Catia
Experience: 2 – 8 Years

Job Location: Bangalore/ Hyderabad (Open to travel domestic/ overseas)
Job Description:
- Automotive BIW Fixture / Gripper Conceptual Design, 3D and 2D detailing, Manufacturing Drawings & BOM, Quality Checking.
- Software: UG NX / Catia
- Good knowledge on entire vehicle assembly, Independent in conceptual Design of assembly line equipments, Good knowledge in welding and other joining process, good in GD&T, material science and heat treatment, Good Fabrication Drawings creation and checking
- Should be experienced in BMW projects and standard.
- Strong technical foundation.
- Good communication skills
Manufacturing Basic Knowledge:
- Basic machining & manufacturing process knowledge
- Manufacturability of Design
- Materials
- Surface finish/ treatment
- GD&T
- Limits, fits & tolerance
- Heat treatment
- Joining process (sheet metal / steel) – Welding (spot / MLG / Ape)
- Basic pneumatics
- Machine drawing (reading)
Interview Process:
- Tool Test (based on the candidates – UG NX / Catia)
- Technical Interview
- HR Discussion
