• BE/ B.Tech – Mechanical / Automobile/ Industrial/ Production Engineering

Skill set: BIW, Welding Fixture Design – UG NX / Catia

Experience: 2 – 8 Years

Job Location: Bangalore/ Hyderabad (Open to travel domestic/ overseas)

Job Description:

• Automotive BIW Fixture / Gripper Conceptual Design, 3D and 2D detailing, Manufacturing Drawings & BOM, Quality Checking.
• Software: UG NX / Catia
• Good knowledge on entire vehicle assembly, Independent in conceptual Design of assembly line equipments, Good knowledge in welding and other joining process, good in GD&T, material science and heat treatment, Good Fabrication Drawings creation and checking
• Should be experienced in BMW projects and standard.
• Strong technical foundation.
• Good communication skills

Manufacturing Basic Knowledge:

1. Basic machining & manufacturing process knowledge
2. Manufacturability of Design
3. Materials
4. Surface finish/ treatment
5. GD&T
6. Limits, fits & tolerance
7. Heat treatment
8. Joining process (sheet metal / steel) – Welding (spot / MLG / Ape)
9. Basic pneumatics
10. Machine drawing (reading)

Interview Process:

• Tool Test (based on the candidates – UG NX / Catia)
• Technical Interview
• HR Discussion
