Responsibilities:
- Write SQL queries according to the business requirements.
- Write database procedures, functions, packages, sequences and triggers according to the business requirements.
- According to business requirements, populate data into database tables using PL/SQL scripts.
- Analyse bottleneck problems in database and provide solutions.
- Develop documentation for code
Job Description:
- Strong knowledge in Oracle Database.
- Strong knowledge in writing SQL Queries, joins, sub queries, views, indexes, sequences and scheduler jobs.
- Strong knowledge in creating and modifying procedures, functions, packages and triggers.
- Good knowledge in query analysis, Performance tuning.
- Good Knowledge in analysing AWR reports
- Knowledge in database export/import, backup/restore dumps.
- Knowledge in Unix commands and shell scripts – good to have
- Knowledge in core java – good to have
