Organization: Agency for New and Renewable Energy Research and Technology (ANERT)

The object of the Agency is to gather and disseminate useful knowledge in the various fields on Non-conventional Energy, Energy conservation and Rural Technology, conduct studies, demonstrate, Implement and support implementation of schemes and projects in these fields, thereby deal with the problems arising out of the rapid depletion on Non renewable energy sources, update the technologies used in rural areas as well as introduce appropriate new technologies with an aim to reduce drudgery, increase production and improve the quality of life.

In particular the objects are:

To identify, formulate, implement and implementation of projects aimed at providing energy requirements of the State of Kerala by harnessing solar energy, wind energy, wave energy, biogas, biomass, energy plantations, micro and mini hydel projects, improved chulahs and kilns etc. with the object of evolving long term plans based on the same.
To identify, formulate, implement and support implementation of a broad based energy conservation program including the conservation of energy at the source of generation, at the state of distribution and/ or its utilization.

Salary: Rs. 50,000/- PM For ATST Expert Category – I, Rs. 35,000/- PM For ATST Expert Category – II

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

ATST Expert Category – I:

Candidates must complete Degree/ PG in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognized University with 10 years experience in Solar PV industry in
advisory/academy or project execution.

ATST Expert Category – II:

Candidates must complete PG in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognized University with 1 year experience in Solar PV industry in
advisory/academy or project execution.

Age Limit:

Candidate’s age must be below 35 years for Category – II and 60 years for Category – I.

Objectives of the task management:

To develop roadmap for implementation
To ensure achieving high quality in construction works to be executed under Central/ State Solar Photovoltaic programme.
To provide technical audit and advisory services for the works executed under Central/ State Solar Photovoltaic programme.
To develop training packages for all working groups associated with the program.
Preparation of Concept Document, Design Document, Process flow document, implementation frame work, guidelines, protocol and user manual for the requirements.
Undertake periodic field visits to review data quality, identify challenges and gaps, and follow-ups for rectifying the errors in data.
Develop templates of reports, score cards etc. as per requirement.

Selection Process:

Candidates are selected based on their performance in the Written test/ G.D and Interview.
