Eligibility Criteria for Ameriprise Financial Recruitment 2021:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for communicating with development & business team
Flexible and proactive/ self- motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution.
Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Up to 1 year experience with Data Visualization, SQL and Data Modeling.
Basic SQL knowledge and ability to write the queries.
Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.
Adept in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements.
Experience in debugging production issues that includes database analysis, design and development, security support, and performance tuning.
Foundational knowledge of any of the scripting language like Python, Power Shell etc.

Job Description:

This Process Trainee is responsible for owning all processes in a system. He/She will collaborate with technology cross-commits and business teams to understand requirements and recommend solution, lead the task by adhering to required quality standards.
He/She will manage and prioritize work requests for enhancements setting accurate expectations with technology and business partners to implement the change at mutually agreed upon milestones and timelines.
The individual should be able to enforce standards and recommendations for maintaining the code quality standards. The individual should be able to manage and govern access to the application and should perform quarterly access reviews, will be responsible for keeping the application compliant with Information Security standards
Candidate should also have excellent technical knowledge, team player, self-motivated individual. Candidate should be open to learn new technologies/tools

Job Responsibilities:-

Maintain knowledge of evolving industry trends, practices, techniques and standards in Financial Service domains.
Manage delivery, priority and distribution of responsibilities to employee and vendor developers.
Design and code to meet business specifications.
Provide input on best practices and procedures. Proactively incorporate, define & communicate the database standard across the team.
Collaborate with cross-commit teams for implementation of deliverables in all environments.
Prioritize and manage work requests for changes and enhancements based on business requirements.
Ensure required documentation for projects and/or enhancements are created and updated.
Mentor / coach the team of developers on the architectural approaches and practices.
Conduct and participate in Code and design Reviews, support and maintain existing code/application.
