Job Description:
Altair is looking for a common module for diagramming needs. Altair Activate is one of the tools that has best in the class diagramming solutions. We seek to make this diagramming component in Altair Activate more generic to cater the growing needs for this solution across Altair Products such as Pulse, Simlab/Flux, NVHD, SEAM etc to achieve common User Experience and better code maintainability across these products.
Job Responsibilities:
- Understand the Project/Issue Description from the Program Management team/JIRA tool
- Debug the issue to find the part of the code that is problematic
- Propose solution(s) to the issue. Get the solution reviewed by the respective owner/in-charge of the code.
- Communicate the work to the QA and receive feedback from the QA
- Expose the functionality via an API, after discussions with the manager and team.
- Discuss with the team members about the possible issues for a given proposal.
- Build source code often to be up to date with the latest code.
- Participate in meetings and provide inputs, if applicable.
