Job Description: 

This is a R&D Associate Engineer role, reporting to the Technology Manager in business area Process Automation located in Bangalore. You will be working at Ability Innovation Center (AIC), home to the largest technology and engineering pool in ABB globally and is a part of ABB Global Industries and Services Private Limited, a subsidiary of ABB. It is based in Bangalore, the silicon-valley of India.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the requirement study, implementation, and testing of modules/components, able to build a wide variety of software subsystems and components efficiently based on requirements.
• Design, code, test, debug and document software according to the functional requirements.
• Develop, maintain and support programs/tools.
• Provide technical expertise across multiple areas of application development.
• Strong ability to effectively work in a team.

Your background:

• Required 1 to 3 years of experience in dot net ecosystem (.net core/asp.net core, .Net framework) and strong hands on experience in development of software tools and applications in C# and .net.
• Hands on experience in software architecture, micro services style (Preferred), component architecture.
• Should have experience in UI framework development and UI development for web-based UI and desktop based on JavaScript, Angular, React etc.
• Should have experience in software security fundamentals and secure coding and knowledge about Software security standards and implementation.
• Should have experience in cloud technologies, edge and hosting platform, like AWS, Azure.
