  • Maintainability, Customer and End-user knowledge is a plus

  • Workshop knowledge is a plus
  • Drivers licence, heavy truck (incl. trailer is a plus)
  • Aftermarket support in dealer systems (IMPACT) is a plus
  • PDM tools such as KOLA, CAD tools suites, EDB, Protus
  • Conception & Engineering knowledge

Job Description:

The service engineering activity is to support project into analyzing, defining and verifying impacts on the standard times and repair procedures assortment we provide to our dealers. But also produce or drive from distance the production of an optimized standard times and repair procedures assortment in terms of quality and cost. The service & information engineer has a strong connection with the Requirement engineer making analysis, simulation, and concept verifications on projects. And take over this responsibility in some projects.
We are looking for a service & information engineer in the area of Powertrain (mainly engines) with good virtual/simulations skills.

Responsibilities

  • Engineer, develop, and document efficient repair information (methods & standard times)
  • Engineer using CAD tools and later physical verification if so needed
  • Make use of a dedicated authoring tools to develop graphical and consistent repair information
  • Engineer and co-develop new special tools
  • Able to understand new vehicle technology and select that which support in terms of repair is important for our customers
  • Review and analyse engineering data to determine what NEW service procedures need to be developed, updated, or carryover for projects, maintenance and quality issues
  • Estimate hours, and plan your own work
  • Plan, drive and verify external production of repair information (workpackage)
  • Support other departments with technical knowledge
