Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (SMA) was launched with a vision to ensure hygiene, waste management and sanitation across the nation. This mission will be implemented across all the cities of India and will be a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th birth anniversary to be celebrated in the year 2019.
Maharashtra has a total of 265 Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) of which 26 are municipal corporations, 239 municipal councils and Nagar Panchayats. According to the Census of India 2011, Maharashtra’s urban population is 5,08,27,431 (45.23% of state’s population). Out of a total of 1,08,13,928 households, 29% of households are without toilet facility within premises. Out of the total number of households without a toilet facility within premises, 73% households are dependent on community toilets while 27% households resort to open defecation

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg) or B.Planning in any discipline from a recognized University.
Experience:
Minimum 6 months experience is required in the field of urban development
Age limit:
Applicants age should be maximum 35 years as on 01-08-2020. Age is relaxable for reserved category candidates
Selection Process:
- Shortlisted will be called for the interview. Interview will done through video conferencing.
- Candidates will be shortlisted in the order of merit based on marks obtained in BE/B.Tech
