Three Opencast Lignite Mines of total capacity of 28.5 Million Tonnes per Annum at Neyveli and one open cast lignite Mine of capacity 2.1 Million Tonnes per Annum at Barsingsar, Rajasthan.

Three Thermal Power Stations with a total installed capacity of 2490 Mega Watt at Neyveli and one Thermal Power Station at Barsingsar, Rajasthan with an installed capacity of 250 Mega Watt

Job Location: Odisha

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Matriculation or equivalent Examination from any recognized Board of Examination
  • Possession of valid Certificate of Mining Sirdarship issued by Director General of Mines Safety
  • Possession of valid First Aid Certificate and
  • Possession of valid Gas Testing Certificate. (OR)
  • Matriculation or equivalent Examination from any recognized Board of Examination
  • Diploma of minimum 3 years duration in Mining (or) Mining & Mine Surveying
    from a recognized institution
  • Possession of valid Overman’s Certificate of competency issued by Director-General
    of Mines Safety under Coal Mines Regulations 1957 or any other certificate of
    Competency in Mining which entitles the applicant to work as Mining Sirdar as per
    Coal Mines Regulation 1957
  • Possession of valid First Aid Certificate and
  • Possession of valid Gas Testing Certificate.

Selection Process:

  • The selection process is based on written test and document verification.
  • The duration of the Written Test will be 120 minutes.
  • The question paper for the Written Test will contain 100 objective type questions, carrying one mark each, with multiple choice of answer.
  • The minimum qualifying marks will be 50% for UR/EWS candidates and 40% for
    OBC(NCL)/SC/ST candidates in Written Test
