Job Description:
- Design & Development of Exterior Fascia Plastic Parts (Bumpers, Grilles etc.), Roof Equipment like Roof Rails, Garnishes, Luggage Carrier, and Load Bars etc
Responsibilities:-
- Design & Development of Exterior Fascia Plastic Parts (Bumpers, Grilles etc.), Roof Equipment like Roof Rails, Garnishes, Luggage Carrier, and Load Bars etc.,
- Layout / Packaging, Master Section Creation & finalization and Detail Part / System Designing, BOM Handling, Cost & Weight Management.
- Understanding of Vehicle / System Level Testing & Evaluation.
- Design Reviews / Problem Solving through Root cause analysis & countermeasure planning.
- Understanding of Raw Materials, Manufacturing Processes & Tooling concepts, Regulation & provisioning of the same in design.
Competencies:
- Proficiency in CAD software, Preferably Unigraphics (NX7.5)
- Should be aware of latest automotive trends in technology / weight & cost management.
- Hands on Experience in Thermal & Strength CAE and CFD will be an added advantage.
- 4-7 Years of relevant experience in Auto OEM / Auto Ancillary / Service provider in Auto Domain.
