DRDO – NMRL Recruitment 2020: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is an agency of the Republic of India, charged with the military’s research and development, headquartered in New Delhi, India. It was formed in 1958 by the merger of the Technical Development Establishment and the Directorate of Technical Development and Production with the Defence Science Organisation. It is under the administrative control of the Ministry of Defence, Government of India.
Naval Materials Research Laboratory (NMRL) pursuing basic research as well as application-oriented technology development in several areas viz. Metallurgy, Polymer, Ceramics, Coating, Corrosion and Electrochemical Protection, Marine Biotechnology, Environmental Sciences.
NMRL has been awarded Quality Management System Certification ISO 9001-2015.

- Graduate Apprentices: 8 Posts
- Technician Apprentices: 6 Posts
- ITI Apprentices: 12 Posts

Experience: Freshers
Salary (Stipend): Rs. 9,000/- PM for Graduate Apprentices, Rs. 8,000/- PM for Technician Apprentices, Rs. 7,000/- for ITI and 10+2 Apprentices.

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
Graduate Apprentices:
Applicants must possess B.Sc in Chemistry/ BA/ B.Com with Computer Knowledge from a recognized University.
Technician Apprentices:
Applicants must obtain Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Computer Science/ Painting Technology from a recognized Institute.
ITI Apprentices:
Applicants must obtain ITI in Pump Operator/ Fitter/ Welder/ Electrician/ Laboratory/ office assistant trades from a recognized Institute.
10+2 Apprentices:
Candidates should complete 10+2 from a recognized board.
Only the candidates from 2017 to 2019 passed outs are only eligible to apply for the above mentioned posts.
Selection Process:
Candidates are selected on their academic score in the qualifying examination.
