Cerner Corporation Recruitment 2021: Cerner is growing and is in search of a Technical Support Engineer. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will proactively monitor system and application alarms, investigate, analyze, resolve or escalate alarms and service requests. In this role, you will be working on front end (Windows server), back end (UNIX based servers), middleware and database of client systems.
You will also prioritize and manage work queue in accordance with service level agreements, document investigation, issue resolution and triage issues to appropriate second-level resources for resolution. - At least 4 years total combined higher education and related work experience, including:
- 4 years higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job including:
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE, SE, CIS, IT or IS or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
- All employees must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Job Description:
As a System Engineer, you are responsible for all activities required to deliver multiple project tasks on time. You will be responsible for the installations of all environments of Cerner Solutions along with the implementation and monitoring of applications and servers. Additionally, you will be responsible for deploying physical and virtual servers, setup and maintain testing environments. In this role, you will also support per service request, complete assigned incident management tasks, perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware or operating system upgrades, and resource optimization.
