Job Description:
As our new Analytics Application Developer, you will help specify, design, and develop applications that connect our business partners to our solutions and guide them to critical insights. More specifically, you will support our advanced analytics projects by:
- Collaborating with business partners and ACE colleagues to discuss business challenges, define requirements, and design analytics solutions
- Implementing analytics applications in R Shiny with a focus on user experience and scalability
- Performing usability testing
- Being a digital disruptor within our domain by researching leading edge technologies and capabilities
- Participating in development activities and applying education from those activities to daily work
Requirements:
- Hold a degree in computer science, data analytics, data science, or software engineering with 3-5 years of working experience in data analytics
- Are proficient with 2+ years of experience with UI design and application development, specifically with R and Shiny
- Have engaged directly with stakeholders and demonstrated ability to launch multi-user applications into production
- Have prior experience with data processing, analysis, and statistical visualization using Python; Bokeh or Dash experience is also helpful
- Have a good working knowledge of front-end web development technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, etc.
- Communicate effortlessly in English with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Have a passion for user experience, data, analytics, innovation, and learning
- Are goal oriented and thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments
