Job Description
Tasks
- Analyze software requirements together with development team
- Create a test plan, test specification and perform test execution (manual & automated)
- Developing test strategy as per ASPICE compliance
- Implement Continuous tests with Jenkins in the component area
- Perform Pre-Integration & Regression Tests as per the test plan
- Analyze & document test results and prepare test reports
- Creation of defects in RTC/JIRA and support developers in reproducing
- Contribute to automation test framework development and stabilization
- Support manual test reduction wherever feasible
- Develop automated tests using python and shell scripting
Mandatory Skills
- Strong working experience in scripting using Python and Shell
- Hands on experience in Software Testing using state of the art frameworks and Jenkins
- Strong knowledge of STLC (Software Test Life Cycle)
- Experience in cross platform development for Linux/QNX/Android based target systems
- Working experience in automation test framework design and development
- Hands on experience in setting up and working with target hardware
- Experience in working with Clear Case/GIT/RTC/RQM
- Good team player with ability to handle tasks independently
Desired skills
- Experience in Automotive Infotainment software testing
- Good written & verbal communication skills
- Exposure to AI/ML based automation frameworks
- Working experience in Agile Scrum / SAFe methods
